The online stores will usually have a box on their checkout page to type in a code, and your savings will be applied automatically to your order. TIP: make sure your discount appears on your order before you hit the "finalize order" button, or it won’t be included in your total, either (the voice of experience talking here). Services that pay you to be online (really!) If you’re willing to let miniature ads flash by on a corner of your desktop while you surf, you can stack up quite a bit of cash. Most of these pay you fifty cents for every hour that you’re online, while some pay sixty or even ninety cents per hour. Shoot, you could pay your monthly online service bill out of that in no time flat. (Let’s see, with four ad banners running at fifty cents per, I can make four or five bucks just by reading the news and answering email every single day! In a week I can net enough to cover the internet access charge and the phone bill for an entire month. Not bad…not bad at all!!) Most of these ad services will let you sign up with multiple companies, so you could run several banners simultaneously (and they don’t take up much room at all on your desktop). On top of your earnings, you can also receive a referral bonus–so if you tell folks about this super-easy way to earn money and they take advantage of it too, YOU will get paid for every hour THEY spend online! I’m paying for our internet service, this website, the kids’ gymnastic lessons, and a mighty fine Christmas with what I’m earning with these tools. Costs you nothing, and you can quit at any time. What have you got to lose??? Here are some to get you started (and don’t forget to list me as a referral, please, if you do decide to sign up). AllAdvantage.com – easy-to-operate banner with occasional special deals for AllAdvantage users. Runs whenver you’re connected to the web, even if you’re just going through your email. The green light means your coffers are filling with cash. This one launches on boot, and I’ve occasionally had to restart it once I get online to get that light to change from red to green. Once I’ve connected to the www, though, it seems to do just fine. (My referral number is #FYT-835) GoToWorld.com – easy way to earn more dough. Opens as a browser on Internet Explorer 4.01 (can download from their site), or you can minimize the browser and just run the cash-accumulating viewbar. Whenever you’re on the internet, the green money sign shows you’re racking up the dough on this cashbar. UtopiAD.com – just go about your business while online and this little cashbar will accumulate money for you even if you’re just chatting or going through your email. Unlike some of the others, this one has no limit on the amount of time you can use it each month. Surf to your heart’s content. (cha-ching!) Valuepay.com – cashbar, much like the others, that earns you bucks for your surfing time (ninety cents an hour…plus a percentage of cash earned by everybody who signs up under you)! Spedianet.com – there are several ways you can earn cash with this one, including email ads (you agree to receive a dozen or two special offers from companies, they pay you ten cents for each email you get). The easiest method is with the viewbar, which runs small ads on your desktop as long as you’re online. You can choose any or all of the money-making options. This one seems to work best when Internet Explorer is open, and you have to keep that mouse moving every thirty seconds or so for it to keep running up an account for you (keystrokes don’t activate it…only the mouse). But as long as you’re actively online, it earns money for you. Surfing2cash.com – another easy cashbar that accumulates money in your account while you navigate the net (sixty cents an hour for every hour you’re surfing). mvalue.com – small viewbar on your desktop lets you collect sixty cents every hour you’re online…and even more if you get referrals who sign up under you. ePIPO.com – sign up and start collecting cash for your internet time for every hour the little "surf window" is active on your desktop (my referral ID is shezza) Ignifuge.com – this one launches as your "start page" on your browser, and as you surf the net you rack up bucks pretty darned quickly. Collects cash for you as long as your browser is open. Hitmaster at data-x.com – sign up for free, click on an ad a couple of times a day, and your account starts filling up with cash. Don’t tell me you don’t have time to click on three ads a day. This is the button that clicks to their site (or you can enter my referral number when you get there-32326): ePilot.com – this is a shopping search engine which pays you to look at ads. For instance, I entered "toys" (Christmas is coming, you know), and a list of internet retailers offering toy bargains appeared. Just by clicking on ToysRUs, I earned a nickel. You have to stay on a site for about fifteen seconds for it to be credited to your account, but while looking for a particular toy for my middle son, I accumulated nearly a buck in my account–just by looking at websites. (I found what I was looking for, too! He’ll be pleased.) colorstamps.com – similar to the above…you enter search criteria, and up comes a list of websites (and a list of how much cash they’ll pay you to look). You don’t ever have to actually BUY anything–they’ll pay you just to look. Click and earn. Couldn’t be easier. allpaidfor.com – click on websites targeted to your interests and be paid a point for each one. Points accumulate on a cyber "credit card" and you can use that on deeply discounted products from their member merchants. About a dozen clicks a day ( twelve sites times five seconds each equals sixty second,s, folks). money4mail.com – this one is an email program where you can sign up to receive "junk mail" offering special deals. For each piece of mail you open, you get fifty cents. Just think how quickly THAT can add up.
