Feeling sluggish in the morning? Try this eclectic list of ideas by which to kickstart your energy, bringing your body into a more motivated and productive day!

CALL YOUR BEST FRIEND

Connecting with a loved one first thing in the morning allows a meaningful, energized start to your day.

DRINK A SMOOTHIE

Using ice or frozen fruit will provide a necessary jolt to be more fully awake in the morning.

DO 100 JUMPING JACKS

Get that heart rate up! This one does not take much time but packs an energy-boosting punch.

DO A BRAIN DUMP

Put pen to paper and write down all of your burdens. Once the mental load is lighter, energy and motivation are sure to improve.

DRINK TEA

Black tea has a large amount of caffeine, which can mimic the energy boost you get from coffee, bringing warmth and comfort along with it.

GO FOR A WALK

Open the front door and step outside. Taking even a ten-minute walk increases heart rate, allows one’s senses to take in the fresh air, and creates a refreshed mind that will help you conquer the day ahead.

YOGA

This specific type of stretching, specifically back-bending poses, is said to increase energy.
