When she started working with Bellville-based Republic Custom Builders designer Lisa Myers, she knew for a fact it was the kitchen she wanted, and the show served as inspiration for the home.
Despite much of the state being landlocked, that does not stop Texas chefs from getting fresh fish from all around the world flown in, often on a daily basis. “When I started fifteen years ago, sushi was popular, but not that much. It’s amazing to see how sushi continues to grow in popularity in Texas,” said Uchi’s Executive Chef and Owner Tyson Cole. “Our timing could not be better now because people want something that’s fresh and creative.”
Officially open since August of 2017, College Station welcomes The George™, a new luxury boutique hotel conveniently located near the Northside campus of Texas A&M. Aggies are likely cheering to have an alternative to the big box hotels, something that more accurately epitomizes their culture and interests.
